Little Black Dress- Simple, black, versatile cocktail length dress meant to last through trends.

I'm extremely excited about my first assignment of the semester! As you've probably guessed from the above text the challenge I've been given is to design a little black dress. Theres so much inspiration to be found it was hard to condense everything into just a few ideas but i managed to come up with three designs. Its going to be extremely hard to pick what design to create but my favorite is Eclaire with Dahliah at a close second. Which one would you want to wear??

Urban Safari

This particular outfit reminds me of a safari adventure. I think because of the green utility shirt. Yes, its definitely that. I'd love to go on a real safari ride in a green jeep over rolling hills. In fact I'd where this outfit, minus the wedges in case i had to run from lions :)

First Impressions.

This is my first post. ever. 

I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about my first post. First impressions are everything after all. 

 I live in the crazy town of Carbondale, IL.

It's known for its crazy college students and their wild parties.

Here the bars are open to students 19+... always a good thing. or atleast for those under 21 like me before 10 days ago

Southern Il is known the beautiful scenery. There's lots of inspiring natural beauties to visit in a very short driving distance. Due to my forestry boyfriend ive been able to visit some of the best sites including Garden of the Gods, Shawnee forest and Little Grand Canyon (my favorite).

 Initially i wasn't looking forward to attending college at SIUC, its not exactly what a fashion hub.  So far though I've had the time of my life and i wouldn't want to be anywhere else...
